Share the World is a free resource for all teachers of primary-age children. It comprises a video, a poster and a beautifully-illustrated resource book. The aim of the pack is simple: to teach kindness, respect and compassion to animals.

The video is 28-minutes long and can be broken down into five sections. It reveals the amazing skills animals have, the loyalty and care they show to one another, how they like to live, the similarities and differences between humans and animals, how to make humane choices and how to treat your companion animal.

The poster is A1 and full-colour, depicting animals and children dancing hand-in-hand around the world.

The book contains stories and poems about animals, research topics, discussion topics, ideas for assemblies and ideas on how to use the poster and the video.

The pack has been distributed free of charge across the US, South Africa, Mexico, the UK and Europe and in many other areas too.

We never charge for our materials as we believe that teaching compassion and kindness is too important a message to put a price on.

If you would like to order a pack then please do so by either: emailing info@stwaustralia.org or writing/phoning the above address/number

To see the British version, visit www.sharetheworld.org.uk

Now we have a new Web site:
www.AllAboutAnimals.org.uk.

It is a British site but has information that I believe is interesting and valuable to educators and learners world-wide. As the name of the site suggests it is "All About Animals" and in particular how human life impacts on the animal world. There are age-sensitive sections for students and teachers to learn more about animals, poetry and stories and resources lists. The sections for younger children have an audio component so that even young children can
learn more without struggling to read long passages.
